Painting Transformation

I was in my last Still Life painting class over a week ago when I took these photos of various stages in my painting to share here. It is interesting to look back at the process. I have to say that sometimes I do like how a painting looked before it was 'finished'...

This time I did not use anything as a reference. Just let my brush do the work. I have to say that I stopped a few times not only to take pictures but to step back and see where it was going. Wish I had a better camera with me than just my Iphone. The canvas board is 24'x36'.















I think I can see trees there, what about you?
